In this video, you will learn how to use a burnishing tool. First, you will want to take the burnisher and lay it down so you can remove it and flatten it. There is a millbastard that is used to file medals. File it at a 45-degree angle so that it stays tight.
You want to get back past the old bur when you are filing it down. You are going to try to replace the bur with a new one. The problem is that only the antenna is touching and if you want narrow cutting, you’ll need to file it down more. Next, hold it at 90-degrees to the surface. Line the teeth of the file to the top with the scraper. Push it along so that you are still aiming to get past the old bur. If it looks good, polish the edges. Start off with a coarse stone and use that to polish off the edges. You want to hold it square to the surface. If you roll it over, that will actually soften the edges.
